You earn 20% of every invoice a workspace you refer pays, for as long as it pays. Sales Montana bills monthly at a flat price, so you can work out your share in advance.

The figures above use the plan prices on our pricing page, billed monthly. Commission is worked out from the amount on each paid invoice, so if a team pays more, you earn more. Nothing is owed on a trial; your share starts with the first paid invoice.

Log in to Sales Montana and open Refer and earn at the foot of the
sidebar. The Referrals page gives you a link in the form
app.salesmontana.com/start?ref=YOURCODE, with a copy button. The code is eight characters,
chosen so it can be read over the phone without mix-ups, and it never changes, so a link you
sent months ago still works.
If you do not have a login yet, create a workspace first; your link appears as soon as you are signed in.
The same page counts four things in order: clicks, signups, paying workspaces and money earned. You see counts, not the names of people who clicked.
When someone opens your link, their browser remembers your code. If they sign up within 60 days of that first click, their new workspace is credited to you. Four rules keep it fair:
Send the app link from your Referrals page itself. A link to the marketing site with your code added does not carry the code into signup.
The same product and trial as anyone else: 14 days or 100 minutes, whichever comes first, on Engine ($99 a month flat, up to 3 users) or Pro ($297 a month flat, unlimited users). Both include pooled talk minutes (1,000 on Engine, 3,000 on Pro) with AI review on every connected call, a single-line power dialer, a built-in CRM, and Montana's call grading and morning briefs for each rep. The price is flat for the workspace, so a team of ten on Pro pays the same $297 a month as a team of four.

Commission is recorded when Stripe confirms an invoice is paid, once per invoice, so a retried payment can never be counted twice. Our team then sends payouts by hand. Your Referrals page shows what you have earned and what has not been paid out yet; if a payout looks overdue, tell us and we will check it.
How much does the Sales Montana affiliate program pay?

How long does a referral link stay valid?
60 days from the click. If the person signs up within 60 days of first opening your link, the workspace is credited to you. Your code itself never expires.
Who can join?
Anyone with a Sales Montana login except a client login: agency owners, sales managers, reps and consultants. Your link is on the Referrals page in the app.
What happens if two people send the same prospect a link?
The first link the prospect opens wins. A later link does not replace it, and each workspace can be referred once.
Can I refer my own company?
No. You cannot refer yourself or a workspace you belong to, and an existing account cannot be referred after the fact.
How are commissions paid out?
Our team sends payouts by hand. Your Referrals page shows what you have earned and what is still waiting to be paid, so you can check every amount.
